In our small and cosy Café-Bistro Tamarindos we offer a simple, high quality meal at an excellent price.
We offer our customers a healthy and fat-free gastronomy in a warm atmosphere that invites to relaxation and carefree.
The Café-Bar Tamarindos merges traditional Canarian cuisine with international cuisine, including different macrobiotic, vegetarian and vegan dishes, offering a world of possibilities adapted to the whole family.
Our dishes maintain a firm commitment to the environment. We use fresh and seasonal products, thus reducing the use of harmful plastics and packaging.
From the hand of the cook Juan Benigno Hernández, you will enjoy an exquisite gastronomy cared and traditional, putting great impetus to get your dishes to the table with an exquisite taste and a sublime presentation.
We work side by side with the Centro Antroposófico, the biodynamic agriculture of the Finca Lomos Altos and companies that adhere to our type of culinary philosophy such as Andy Brot bakers. We all hold high that good nutrition is the basis of a solid foundation for the human being and that is why we work in harmony with the earth, making the most of all the resources that the earth has to offer. In this way we do not renounce to respect and preserve the environment and we collaborate as much as possible to make it so.
The Café-Bar Tamarindos offers an indoor space for 20 guests and a terrace bar for 30 more. You can find us in front of the outdoor pool which is heated during the winter months. So you can keep an eye on the little ones in the family while enjoying more than 10 different types of coffee, which you can enjoy with our cakes and desserts.
Our Café-Bar will offer you our buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner service, all of which will be accompanied by an offer of local wines, fresh and natural juices, smoothies and vega-smoothies and a succulent cocktail variety.
We also have a separate dining room for family, friendly and business meetings where you can hire our menus for business dinners, festivities, birthdays and any kind of celebration that makes you happy.
Meet our wonderful breakfasts where you can enjoy all the family in an unparalleled environment. We offer alternatives for intolerant and allergic people replacing dairy with different types of vegetable milks. Our German baker will provide you with different types of bread and gluten alternatives so that you can enjoy great health throughout your stay.

8:00-10:30: Breakfast Buffet: a complete breakfast to start the day well, with coffee, tea, cereals, gofio, nuts, fruits, milk, cheese, ham and Spanish sausages, eggs, breads and cakes, juices, honey and other products depending on the time of year.
10:30-12:00: Cafeteria with drinks, ice cream, coffee, bread, etc.
12:00-15:00 (except Saturdays): Lunch and Cafeteria - Eventually Barbecue (Prior registration on a list is required, until 10:00 in the morning)
15:00-18:00: Closed - Rest and preparation for the night.

Lunch and dinner are á la carte. The meals are served at the table.

Unfortunately due to the peculiarity of the island, we cannot offer purely ecological or biodynamic catering.
We work with local products, from the island or the other Canary Islands, such as rabbits, goat meat, goat cheese, lentils, chickpeas, wrinkled potatoes, mojos, etc. which are often found on our menu. (It is incredible that 90-95% of all food in the Canary Islands has to be imported from the continent.
It is our effort to reduce the imported goods constantly to strengthen the region and increase the proportion of fresh products in the dishes.
